Its aluminum housing is robust and lightweight at the same time. The LCT 140 AIR has a cardioid characteristic and just sounds fantastic.
AIR and FLAT explained.
AIR delivers an open, sparkling character. A great choice if you need record ready sound right from the start. You can immediately use and share those recordings without spending any time on post-production.
FLAT provides a linear frequency response for “as-it-is” reproduction of drums, strings, acoustic guitars, and choirs. It’s a great choice if you aim for highly realistic sonic images.
Having both options at hand makes the LCT 140 AIR a highly versatile recording tool.

Durable yet lightweight.
The LCT 140 AIR is very durable yet lightweight thanks to its CNC’ed aluminum housing. Positioning and setup become easy tasks.
Low-cut filter and pre-attenuation pad keep your recordings clean.
The low-cut filter minimizes structure-borne noise and low-frequency rumble. Use the pre-attenuation pad, if you want to record high SPL instruments.
